Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Klatr Challenge?
The Klatr Challenge is a web-based contest where up to 100 contestants complete creative and competitive challenges for a chance to win up to $10,000. One person will be eliminated per round—unless more are disqualified for incomplete submissions.
Is there a cost to join?
No, there is no fee to apply or participate. However, some challenges may require minimal expenses for common household items or materials.
How do I apply?
You can apply by filling out the application form on the Klatr website. You’ll need to provide personal info, photos, a short video, and agree to the contest’s Terms and Conditions.
What do you require to enter?
You must present valid information at time of applying. You are also required to provide valid identification.
Should anything at all be falsely represented, you may be removed from the competition. We don’t deal well with liars and frauds. Just be real and be honest and you’ll have a blast.
When does the contest start?
Applications close on August 15, 2025. The first challenge will begin on or around September 1, 2025. It may be delayed if we don’t get 100 qualified entries.
What if I miss a challenge or submit late?
Missing or failing a challenge puts you at risk of elimination. Submissions must be on time and meet the criteria of the challenge prompt.
How is the winner chosen?
Contestants are eliminated one by one until only one remains. That finalist will be declared the winner—assuming they complete all required challenges.
Do I need to win every challenge?
No. You simply need to avoid being the lowest-ranked or least-voted submission in each round. It’s about outlasting—not dominating—your opponents. As long as you compete you have a chance to move forward. Don’t ignore any challenge. You won’t need to be an expert at anything.
How do eliminations work?
Each round, at least one contestant is eliminated based on performance, audience vote, or disqualification. Some rounds may see more than one elimination.
Can I sue Klatr if something goes wrong?
No. All participants must agree to a full release of liability and waive all legal claims against Klatr, its affiliates, or anyone involved in production. Participation is at your own risk.
Will my image or videos be used publicly?
Yes. By entering the contest, you agree to let Klatr use your likeness, image, and submissions for promotional, marketing, and entertainment purposes across all media platforms during this contest and any future contests by klatr or their affiliates.
What if the contest doesn’t reach its goal?
The full $10,000 prize will be awarded if Klatr reaches its engagement goals (500,000 YouTube views and 250,000 site visits). If not, a smaller cash prize will be given. The odds of this happening are very minimal and we may even up the contest prize or add other prizes at any time.
How often will challenges be posted?
Challenges will be posted at regular intervals. Each challenge will include instructions, a deadline, and a method of submission. Details will be provided via either email, YouTube, on the website or a combination of the three.
Once a competition is completed and the winners selected, we will move forward to the next challenge. Most will take up to no more than 3 days from the time the challenge is announced to the time all submissions are completed and may take up to 3 days to judge, post, complete, etc. We expect a new challenge to start within every 7 days. Some challenges may be required within a day and will always be clearly posted each time.
Where can I watch the show or challenges?
Klatr will publish highlight videos and updates via YouTube and other social platforms. Participants are encouraged to share and promote their submissions.
Can international contestants apply?
At this time, the Klatr Challenge is only open to residents of the United States and Canada due to legal and logistical limitations.
