When you create a KLATR account we collect your username, email address and password. When you upload videos we store the video file, title, description and associated metadata. When you interact with content we record likes, shares, follows and view data. We also collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and device information for security and performance purposes.
We use your information to operate the KLATR platform, process prize payments, send notifications about your account and winnings, calculate lottery eligibility, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to serve targeted advertising.
Videos you upload are stored on Bunny.net's content delivery network and served publicly to all KLATR users. By uploading a video you grant KLATR a license to store, display and distribute that video on the platform. You retain ownership of your content. Deleted videos are removed from our servers within 30 days.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. KLATR does not store your full credit card or bank account information. For prize payouts we collect and store only the minimum tax information required by law — specifically the last four digits of your Tax ID for accounts earning $600 or more annually. Full payment account details are managed directly by Stripe under their privacy policy.
KLATR uses session cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We use Google AdSense which may place advertising cookies on your device. We do not use tracking cookies for behavioral advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings though this may affect your ability to stay logged in.
KLATR uses the following third party services which have their own privacy policies: Bunny.net for video hosting and delivery, Stripe for payment processing, Google AdSense for advertising. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies to understand how they handle data.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Videos with no activity for 90+ days may be removed as described in our Terms of Service. If you delete your account your personal data is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days.
You may request a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at admin@klatr.com. We will respond within 30 days.
KLATR is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account please contact us immediately at admin@klatr.com and we will delete the account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of KLATR after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
